The trio commands the entire league of Odyssey committee. They are the leaders, decision makers and deadline pushers of every task in the preparation for this FOC. (Queen) Iris, the President, is assisted by two Vice Presidents (seemingly bodyguards) – Andrew and Pang Chong. They exercise their power over the board of committee through wits, flairs and occasionally, laughter.

The secretary is an administrative assistant in business office administration and… Wait, who doesn’t know what a secretary does? Being in the know-it-all position, Sean Tan is the guy who obsessively records meeting minutes and keeps everyone informed via (spam) emails. His consistency and organization skills are certainly invaluable to our committee.

Money is what makes the world ticks – our treasurer understands this better. When it comes to money, Yu Shan is more precise and calculative than anyone else. She squeezes out every cent possible out of the tight budget to sustain expenditures in the FOC. However, should there be a request to increase the budget, one must first survive her almighty weapon, the calculator.

Having established a close rapport with the NTU admission office, the Admin Officers hold the answers to all your doubts regarding the administrative matters. They will be there to guide you through the enrollment procedures and formalities upon your arrival to university. Hidden beneath their serious expressions, you will find only warmth and amicability in Chieng Hong and Wencin.

Working behind the scene, the talented duo is in charge of the look and feel of the FOC. From the theme, T-shirt, booklet, slides, to the website you are now viewing, they work laboriously to craft all the audiovisual presentations for the FOC. If there is any creative task to be done, Chong Yang and Yu Yuan will be summoned to beat the clock with their efficiency and expertise.

Starving? Thirsty? The Welfare committee is there to serve your gastronomical needs. Injured? They are there to patch you up. Suffice to say, the Welfare committee takes care of every freshie with a tender and personal touch. Even when the world turns its back against you, at least Adrian and Mei Cheng would still care for you (but only during the FOC).

Adept in the arts of public relation, the Liaison Officers bridge the gap between MSA and other parties. They make it possible to organize joint activities by liaising with other organizations, besides ensuring that every FOC programme does not clash against other events in terms of time and venue. You could tell from their Japanese Yakuza appearance – Grace and Siew Loong are not to be trifled with.

The five masterminds work tirelessly and meticulously to plan the FOC programmes from Day One to the last. Besides outlining the schedule, Patrick and his Assistant CPs, De Zien, Gilbert, Hwee Yun and Siew Ping are constantly pondering on how to raise the bar and amplify the fun factor. Their efforts contribute enormously to the success of the FOC. Rest assured, you can expect them to deliver an exciting and unforgettable camp!

As the leader among leaders, the Chief Group Leader (CGL) binds all orientation Group Leaders (GLs) together under his muscular fist. Wen Liang (CGL) rules the entire platoon of GLs alongside his two Assistant CGLs – Wei Shin and Wei Ting. Throughout the FOC, you will see them coordinating the move of every GL and setting everything in motion.

The Ex-Officio is a special position designated only for the (aged) veterans. They were the ex-committee in previous FOCs, and therefore, have been through more FUN than anyone else in the committee. With their far sights and experience, they bring objectivity and clarity into every decision. While they may not look very sane in this photo, Boon Ming and Yok Yin sometimes enlighten the rest with their words of wisdom.
